Dr Delphine Labbé is an assistant professor in the department of Disability and Human Development at UIC. Her research aims to promote the full participation of people with disabilities in their communities and reduce their health disparities. Her work conducted in collaboration with the community focuses mainly on 1) Improving the accessibility of the pedestrian environment of cities and of the public transportation and 2) Understanding the benefits and improving access to adaptive recreational and physical activities for people with disabilities of all ages.
