2024 Fall ADA Coordinator Conference Scholarship
The Great Lakes ADA Center in collaboration with the Great Plains ADA Center invites you to Madison, Wisconsin for the 2024 ACTCP Fall ADA Coordinator Conference on October 21st - 22nd. This event offers multiple sessions covering different aspects and Titles of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This 2-day conference offers training credits for the ADA Coordinator Training Certification Program (ACTCP); however, you do not need to be an ACTCP member to attend. Conference Stipends: The Great Lakes ADA Center is supporting participation and attendance from across our six-state region by providing a limited number of stipends to cover the $350.00 registration fee. Applications will only be accepted from individuals who work and reside in the Great Lakes Region (IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, and WI)
This stipend is only valid for the registration fee to attend the 2024 ACTCP Fall ADA Coordinator Conference and does not cover any pre-conference events. Individuals are responsible for their travel and personal costs associated with participation as well as any pre-conference events they would like to attend.
To apply for the stipend, send an email with the subject line "Stipend Application for 2024 Fall ADA Coordinator Conference" to adagreatlakes@uic.edu with the following information:
- First and last name
- Position title, organization name and type (government, non-profit, private, etc.)
- Contact information: Address, Phone, Email
- Confirmation that you have financial support from other sources for travel, hotel, etc.
- How would you apply what you learned in your role to your community and work
The application deadline is October 4, 2024. Notification to recipients will be made by email on October 7, 2024, to enable selected individuals to meet the registration deadline of October 10, 2024.
